Deck Wizard Wheaton Door & Window Sold a below standard product & service for above average pricing VIRGINIA BEACH, BELTSVILLE Maryland, Virginia

The information being provided by me below, is based on my own personal experiences with this Company, and represents my opinions. Hopefully this will deter other potential customers from their products & services.

After agreeing to having my exterior deck restored with new kiln dried wood & their "patented" stain, complete with a 10 year homeowner warrenty, nearly 3 months later, the job was "completed" after more aggravation than I deemed necessary dealing with this Company in their home office, local office, sales representative, work crews, etc.  The results were sub-standard at best!

Their so called stain began peeling & flaking off within 4 weeks. Good luck trying to get someone to come out to make good on their warrenty which states they'll repair or replace the defective area, no charge. Quite honestly, after my initial experience with them, who wants to continue this agonizing process a second time!  Customer service is not in their vocabulary, but rude, unprofessionalism abounds!

To make a long story short, in my opinion, their product, which they claim is their own, is just a can of Sherwin Williams deck stain, off the shelf.

Just bad news all around, red flags everywhere! Sales reps who come out to your house & sell you this stuff, you can't reach after the sale, and if you're lucky enough you might, but then find out they're no longer working for the Company, mainly because they can't get paid as the Company is holding back on their commissions!

Again, you have been forewarned, deal with LOCAL businesses who have excellent reviews & reputations! This is this Company's 2nd season servicing the Hampton Roads area...& I wouldn't be surprised if it was their LAST! Oh, & by the way, there are companies out there who do not insist on 25% down payment upfront BEFORE any work starts, like Deck Wizard!
