On 10/13/09, I purchased a pair of CHANEL 3128HB eyeglasses from EyeWearUs.com AKA Decormyeyes.com in the amount of $249.99. On 11/2/09- I had a local optometrist put lenses in for the amount of $152.60 - which I have a receipt as proof that the lenses were installed. I received my frames from Eyeswearus.com but then inquired to the owner about adding nose guards via email on 12/10/09. Tony Russo- the owner emailed and said that they would treat it as a REPAIR order and that it was not a problem to add nose guards to my frames and I would have to ship back my frames and to call him to give them the credit card number so they can charge $12 on my card to ship it back to me once the repair was completed and they would charge $30 for the nose guards when it was completed. I had called Tony as instructed and authorized for them to charge $12 for the return shipping. On 12/11/09- I shipped by my Chanel frames to the address Tony gave me- 56 Beaumont Street, Brooklyn NY 11235. I followed the instructions to put the order # inside the box. I shipped it via USPS with delivery and tracking and it was delivered on 12/14/09 at 1:52 p.m. On 12/23/09- I emailed to confirm they received my package- they said they did not. So I logged on to their website and online chatted and they confirmed that they received my frames but said I have to contact KARINA- who is in charge of repairs. I called Karina that day and she confirmed that they received my frames. Shortly after that conversation, I received an email confirming in writing that they had received my eyeglasses for repair. I emailed again on 12/29/09 asking for an update on my frames and got a response back saying that the frames were still in the lab. I emailed again on 1/13/10 after the Holiday season and received no response. I emailed on 1/25/10 inquiring a status on my frames and they responded and said they had no updates and that my frames were still in the lab. I emailed on 2/1/10 and received a response from the owner stating that due ot the repair lab going thru some renovations, thus delaying my repair order and they apologized and will contact me shortly. I waited until 2/15/10 and emailed again and got no response. I called Karina on 2/23/10 and she said that they received a big batch of repair orders back from the lab and that if I don't get an email that evening- then to email her and let her know. I never received an email regarding my glasses so I sent Karina and the owner an email letting them know I still have not received an email update on my Chanel frames. I got no response so I called Karina again on 2/25/10 and told her that I never got an email on Monday evening, she put me on hold and then came back to tell me that they never received my frames. I told her I have delivery and tracking information that they received my frames on 12/14/09 at 1:52 pm. She said to email her the tracking # when I had it. I emailed it to them on 2/26/10 and got a response from the owner asking who signed for it. That is the last I heard from them. I sent a very long email to the owner about all the details and emails from them stating that since 12/2009- they told me that my frames were in the lab for repair and got several excuses as to why it was taking too long. So I waited patiently for now going on 4 months and now they are telling me they never received my glasses even though I have emails in writing that confirms they had received it. So I am out the following expenses: $$249.99 for my CHANEL frames, $152.60 for the lenses in my frames, $12 that they charged to ship back the frames when the nose guards were completed and $3.89 for the shipping I incurred shipping back my frames for repair. So now I have no frames and the company is refusing to give them back to me, replace or refund me the money I have lost. I don't understand why after all these months that they made me wait- they now tell me they never received my frames- which is a lie because I have over a dozen emails confirming everything in writing!
