After ordering the Minerals of Earth Collection from Del Prado Collections the nightmare began. It was to be a gift for my 9 year old daughter. She was to recieve minerals each month and a case to house the minerals after the sixth shipment. Since December Del Prado has failed to mail minerals more than 50% of the time.

After speaking with customer service I have been told various lies. "They will ship on Friday", "I'll force shipment of minerals we have in stock." On numerous occasions customer service has been rude and obnoxious about my inquiries. I have even been hung up on by a Del Prado agent.

Currently it has been two months since my daughter has recieve anything from Del Prado. Today I recieved an email from a customer service agent stating that they had recieved a large shipment of minerals ready to be shipped in 10 days. I am tired of Del Prado 'buying time' with false claims, rude behavior and unacceptable excuses.

I strongly reccomend that people avoid purchasing any collection from Del Prado. Unless of course you enjoy a headache.

Response to "Who is Del Prado Collections"

AUTHOR: Pam - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, August 30, 2008

Del Prado is a company that sells collectable items. Items such as fire trucks, minerals, books and ect. I would not assume that because the company is based in Pennsylvania, that it pertains to a particular family name in that area.

Who is Del Prado Collections?

AUTHOR: Joseph - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 15, 2007

To All Concerned,

I should be filling out a complaint of my own but I can't find an address right now. I was looking up my name for family research when I came across this complaint. I am shocked that this company is using my last name for their business. I realize that there are many del Prados (Del Prado) all over the world. The kicker is that I was raised in Holmes, Pennsylvania! We were the only del Prado family in three states! There have not been any del Prados in Holmes since 1989! Who are these people and why are they using my name! I believe they should cease and desist using my good name for their bad company!

Joseph
