Dell advertised a 14z for the Black Friday Deal. A lot of people ordered, just to find out that Dell was substituting an inferior model. I, like a few others, filed a BBB report against them. Dell called me up to tell me that they were not going to honor the deal, and that the best they would give me was $100 off a machine. This is no resolution. Yet because Dell called me up and tried to resolve the problem (with an offer they knew was meaningless) the complaint gets listed as resolved.
I certainly hope that federal money is not spent on the BBB since that is a total waste of money. Dell flipped me off and the BBB rewards them for it. How about the fact that offer that they made was in no way satisfactory? Is my only option waiting for the class action lawsuit that will be filed. The company already had a few bait and switch lawsuits already... what's a few more?
