Dell Computer Dell Financial Services, sent them check $600.00 dollars to pay account in full, cashed my check, did not credit account. the business that doesnt give a dam Carol Stream Illinois

I bought two computers from Dell in the summer of 2001. I have been paying them more then the minium payment every month in efforts to pay off my account(s) early. My wife sent in a check for $600.00 dollars last month. The check cleared my bank account on th 5th of May. I called Dell and the have no record of the payment. I find this strange because we send the check with the payment stub.

I have the returned check. I sent in a copy of the check, front and back, to Dell customer service 2 weeks ago. They still have not credited my account. They stated it takes up to 30 days to do the "research". This company is simply screwed up. Dell should chose a different company to handle their book keeping.

I am very angry at Dell. I will never buy a Dell computer again. And I will tell anyone I know who is considering buying a new computer to not buy a dell. Their customer service is simply aweful. My next computer will be a Gateway....
