Dell Computer improper repair charge Round Rock Texas
*Consumer Comment: You are "make believe"
I purchesed a Dell I660 computer on Oct 31, 2013 which has a one year warranty. On March 31,2014 I needed tech repair service. I was told I would have to pay $129.00. I needed use of the computer so I agreed to the charge. Service it seems was actually provided by a Dell partner 'DMI.Dell Partner/REC.' I have contacted Dell by email but they have not responded. I believe I shopuld not have been charged & should receove a credit of $129.00.

You are "make believe"

Who did the repair? There is NO such a partner with Dell if it does not come directly from Dell. Many computer repair shop/online are scammed by saying they are "partner" with whatever brand you want to put it. They simply get certified by the brand you bought but they are NOT partner. In other words, you are charged by them, not by Dell.
Also, be more careful about warranty. If you want manufacturing warranty, you will very likely to SEND your item back to the manufacturer. They do not send anyone out or attempt to fix it online. Their warranty is usually hardware, not software.
Therefore, you are "make believe" and fall for that these people are Dell. Those who use any tech support from a shop/online must accept that these people are another company and they are qualified to fix the computer only (not Dell employees or related).
