DELL Incorporated RIPOFF DON"T BELIEVE THE HYPE Round Rock Texas

Please do not believe all the hype surrounding DELL Inc. and their claims of award winning service. If you are planning to purchase any type of equipment from this company, I hope for your sake that it works and you have no issues.

If you have an issue, technical or other, you are in for a long process.

I purchased a computer and it did not work. Dell Inc. technical support incorrectly diagnosed the problem so I returned the system. It took from 9/10/04, the day Dell Inc. received the computer back, until 11/22/04 to resolve the billing issues. That is 2 and half months!!!!

Do not fall into the trap that this company has award winning service and their customer care personnel are helpful.

First of most of them barely speak English, so unless you speak some kind if Indian based language, you will have trouble communicating with these people. Second, be prepared to explain your story from the beginning each and every time you call them up. The customer service personnel never have a clue what is happening, I was told on serveral occasions that the customer service people have no way to see when you called last and what the reason you called was. It took me over a dozen calls over 2 1/2 months to resolve my issues.

IT IS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!!!!!!!!!

If you are going to buy from Dell Inc. I wish you luck and hope that you never have the need to work with their "award winning" customer care group or anyone at Dell Financial Services. I now truly believe that this award the company has won for their customer service, was given to them by themselves.
