Six months ago I purchased (least ) a car from Dell Motors with a 3mo. warrenty. The trans. went out before it expired. Took them 3 days to pick it up and 2 weeks to replace the trans. The trans. was only a half hr. away.

At that point in time I had only put 1500 miles on it. Alot less than the average driver. After they finished the repairs they (Sergio) billed me for a portion of the repairs 400.00 dollars to be exact. Not the way warrenties work and not stipelated in any paperwork that you are responcable for any portion of the warrenty.

When asked why I would have to pay this 400.00 his ( Sergio) responce was we went over the warrenty with the labor and it was on me to pay the differance.

I've delt with warrenty companies in the past, you agree on a set amount and that is what is paid out no more and no less. They (Dell Motors "Sergio") agreed on 1500.00 for parts and labor brought it up to 1900.00 and want me to cover 400.00 of this.

I called the place that the trans. was purchased it cost them 900.00 they billed it out at 1350.00 labor was 552.50. Total ripoff. Bill should have been 1450.00 at most not 1902.50.

1. Warranties exist for exactly the issue that you had with your car.

2. The claim limit is set at $1,500 on the AUL 3 month powertrain warranty.

3. Having spoken to Sergio, you were never charged anything for any amount whatsoever.

4. You correctly pointed out the final invoice amount came to $1452.50 which is why you were never billed!
