Delray Credit Counseling Corp Delray credit will do nothing but lie and call you foul names Ripoff Delray Beach Florida

We signed up for Delray Credit in July of last year, we included four accounts on their payment plan because they promised us that they would make get the interest rates down, late fees and over limit fees taken off our account and by doing credit counseling our credit score wouldn't be ruined. We were fine with this and signed up. Our first payment was taken out the on the 15th of August and we started getting calls from one of our credit cards on the 16th. I called Delray and was told that there was already an agreement between Delray and this credit card for 156 dollars per month and that the payment had already been sent. Delray told me that the people from the credit card that were calling me worked on commission and were just trying to get money so they could get a paycheck, all I had to do is tell the creditor to call Delray and hang up the phone, at this time we were also told that the other three credit companies were informed that we were working with Delray and that within 7 days, the agreements would be worked out with them.

The phone calls started coming every single day at least 5 times a day, each time we would call Delray and were told the payment had been made and the payment plan was already agreed to by both parties. Yet the credit card company kept saying that was a lie. Delray called us today and told us our monthly payment was going up because this credit card settled for a higher rate and that they never recieved the information on the other credit cards that we included in the plan so Delray was not going to be working on those. I asked why I was being lied to and said I wanted to cancel the account at this time the represenative from Delray started calling my a liar, crazy, mentally ill and told me that I wasn't getting S*** back, I then called her a b**** and hung up.

I called the credit card company, turns out that the person that Delray had spoken to did not even exsist (credit card company told me that no such person works for them), I was told that Delray had gotten in touch with the credit card company and offered to make a 156 dollar payment which would've been fine but were not going to make the first payment until October 31st (we would've paid them 3 times by then) and that the credit card company refused the proposal because by October the account is going to be in collection.

This morning I called the corporate office where once again I was called crazy, a liar and then they got the person who originally signed us up on the phone, she claimed that she remember talking to us and I was a lying crazy B**** who didn't know a d**n thing, I called her a name and hung up the phone and then called the phone number to the presidents office that I got off the BBB website and told the lady who answered the phone that I wanted to talk to the president or vice president now and was told that she didn't care who the F*** I wanted to talk to becuase I am a dumb B**** and was hung up on.

I called the Attorney General Office in Florida and was told that this company and all companies like this that operate in Florida are scams, they run out of Florida because they are not regulated and do not have to have license to operate, anyone else having this problem please call the Attorney General Office in your state and file a complaint and tell them they need to work with the Florida Office, also but a complaint to the BBB (they are a member) but I was told by the Attorney General Office that doesn't mean anything other than they pay a membership fee to the BBB yearly. Please don't use this company, they will not help you at all, they are nice as can be until they get their money and then cuss you out.
