Delta Management Associates Contacted a social media contact without consent and didn't identify themselves Chelsea Massachusetts

I was contacted by a friend of mine on social media and she told me Delta Management Associates had contacted her for a reference.  I was confused because I didn't remember giving her name as a reference or applying of any job with them.  I researched online and found out that they were a collection agency.  I was correct.  They comb social media contacts and randomly contact them.  I was furious because I never gave them her name and number and they lied about who they were.  That's illegal.  I called their number to complain but of course the line was either busy or there was no answer.  They are getting a cease and desist letter immediately.

I hope someone can put them out of business because of their illegal practices.
