To start, I got this 2009 used Town & Country Chrysler, with no warranty offered. I had to purchase my own warranty.

At the time I didn't want this vehicle and I was in the position of paying for the vehicle full price, cash on hands. The sales person rather get me financed with the worst financial institution, looking for his pocket instead of taking care of the customers. I was told this wasn't the first time he had done this.

Sales Manager Edwin Perez, who is no longer employed with this company due to all the complaints he had received of bad customer service. Gave me the vehicle dirty, hardly

No gas, very unprofessional using profanity and didn't even have the courtesy to follow up with me after he sold me the van. In other words see ya, got your money. To all of this

I had given a large down payment of $5000 down and still got a high interest with the worst financial institution of Skopos. Another ripoff of a company. This company have given me the run around, making false promises that they can't keep. I spoke to so many deferent sales people, management and still no resolution. I spoke to the manager

Steve Mccoy in the month of September and he advised me to pay the 6 months in order

To be able to get out of this deal and that he was going to work out a deal for me to compensate everything that was done wrong by them to begin with. I took his word and told him I will be calling in December. Called in December and completely forgot about

What we had spoken about. Talk about bad customer service? Waited for the new year

And personally made my appearance, remembered me when he saw me and we had

Agreed for them to pay off the current loan and make a new loan with the down payment

I had originally made on the Chrysler and get me into another vehicle with a lower interest rate and monthly payment. Sat me for 2 hours to re-run both of my husband's and my credit

To tell me to come back to see if they could do something? And they gave me the foot in my behind out the door with a big IF??? Now I want to know what I could do in this situation? I called corporate and gave a complaint and still no resolution.  I don't want to be stuck with a used vehicle, high interest and sold to me over the book value. Please if

There's someone that could give me a call and help me I would greatly appreciate it.

God bless.

Maria Franquiz

DeLuca Toyota of Ocala are The biggest Rip offs

AUTHOR: John Franquiz - ()

POSTED: Monday, January 12, 2015

Maybe you should stop writing me about being I unstable. Because you don't know a thing about me and regardless of what you think A business should back up what they say in the first place. Regardless of how I explained the situation when I waiting the salesman explained to me how he would've handled the situation. Explained to me he would've found a bank not a financial institution with a lower rate and a lower monthly payment. This salesman keeps a relationship with his clients, so what does that tell you? This is what I'm referring to. Not the fact for you to sit there and judge me. Who are you to point the finger? It looks like this could be one of the people from the Toyota dealer themselves talking to defense their case. Well there is no defense to what they did and how they went about it. It could've been handled in a more professional way. They could've looked out for me and they didnt. Point blank. That is not good customer satisfaction. And I AM NOT SATISFIED AT ALL. I don't care what anyone thinks. I know my rights and I feel they should've taken better care of me. And not look for I  how to make money off of honest people. Even by me talking to the General Manager Chris Trottey didn't help me any. He thinks he tried to help me, but he wants to stiff me with another car with more money down and more expensive. Really? What about the money I put down on this van? I lost that money he told me. So this is how DeLuca Toyota makes business, ripping people off and making money with their schemes. I know there is a God of justice and what goes around comes around. They had the chance to make it right and still nothing. What does that tell you??? Enough said.

I still don't see the rip-off

AUTHOR: coast - ()

POSTED: Monday, January 12, 2015

“I did walk out and the salesperson came after me and told me he would bring down the price, which he didnt.”

The door was still there. You still had your feet.

“They are here to make money”

That is the primary reason people are in business.

“I was sold a used car over the book value and I think they should make it right.”

Property value is a matter of opinion. Merchants are not required to follow someone else’s opinion as to the value or resale value of their merchandise.

You agreed to the terms so the price and the interest rate are not a rip-off unless they failed to honor the written agreement. You never told us what specific part of the written agreement they violated.

Do you understand the definition of buyer’s remorse?

IN RESPONSE TO YOU

AUTHOR: John Franquiz - ()

POSTED: Sunday, January 11, 2015

I did walk out and the salesperson came after me and told me he would bring down the price, which he didnt. These people all they want is

Your money. Point blank. They don't do a follow up with their customers. The only reason he spoke to me after the transaction was completed, was because I called corporate and complained and could've walked back in there and tell them I wasn't happy with the way

They handle their business? But they kept on making promises. I know I should've known

Better to take anyone's word.  They are here to make money, and not look out for the xustomers. That is so sad that they're in business to do this. I went back in and spoke to the general Manager and he told me he was going to work something out. Let's see of it's

Just words again. What I'm looking for? Is for integrity and loyalty to the customers and I'm going to prove by their actions what that is. Yes I walked out and one of the things the general manager told me that people like me would take advantage of Toyota because they know that they have to work some hung out and that we will take advantage of that. Well I have news for him, I didn't know this and even if I did? I'm not that kind of a person.

I was sold a used car over the book value and I think they should make it right. They fired the manager that sold me that car, so what does that tell you??? Exactly. With that alone  it speaks for itself.  I just wish there would be something that could stop these people in ripping people off and taking advantage of honest people and your right they need us more then what we need them and if they want us to refer people to them? They need to follow the statement that they posted on their biography online.

You appear unstable

AUTHOR: coast - ()

POSTED: Saturday, January 10, 2015

You attempted to pay cash yet agreed to pay a high finance rate for an overpriced vehicle that you do not want. For some reason you were willing to wait two hours for a loan you claim you do not want. Maybe you are unstable or maybe you got stuck with a salesman that could sell oil to an Arab but either way you are suffering from a case of buyer’s remorse.

Here is some help

AUTHOR: Robert - ()

POSTED: Friday, January 09, 2015

While it is probably not the help you want, it will help you in the future.

First of all this is a PUBLIC site, and no one has any access to your phone number, so don't expect any calls from anyone who sees your "RipOff".

Next, and this is with all sincerity...the best advise someone can give you is to get a backbone and not to be a doormat.  Because I honestly lost count how many time YOU let them take advantage of you from just what you wrote.

If you don't want a 2009 Town & Country - You get up and walk out of the dealership.

If you don't want to pay for a warranty and they won't give you one - You get up and walk out

If you want to pay cash and they say no - You get up and walk out

If the interest rate is too high - You get up and walk out.

If the price is too high and they won't come down - Now follow me here..what do you do?  You get up and WALK OUT.

Yes it is really that simple.  They need your business more than you need them, and as long as what you are asking is not that unreasonable(such as asking for a $10,000 car for $100) you will probably find that most dealers will actually try and start to deal in a bit better terms once you show you are willing to leave.

As to what to do about this car.  Enjoy it because it is yours and there is nothing legally you can make them do to take it back or give you a "better" deal after the fact.    However, you did start off your report by saying you were in the position to pay cash.   So if you want out of the financing...why not just pay it off?
