I purchased a Hotwire Cutting Table from Demand Products Inc. I paid close to $500. For my packaging needs, I could've just purchased any other hotwire cutting table available on Amazon but I wanted the BEST. If you do a search it will populate similar products between $100 to $125 and they will perform the same if not better.

How do I know? Because I bought one of those a few years ago before I bought the Manix Hot wire foam cutter table. That cutter lasted me 4 years. After it died I upgraded to this supposedly high-end cutter. Fast forward March 2019, I was cutting styrofoam per usual when the electronics on the underside of the table started burning (not the wire).

There was a really awful smell like plastic and metal burning. I unplugged it for a minute. When I plugged it back in the wire wouldn't cut anymore. So I called Demand Products Inc to get help. They said they would get back to me soon. After 4 hrs of waiting a guy calls back. Basically in so many words (mostly condescending), he's telling me this item is disposable and they can't repair it. And if I send it back they "MIGHT" offer me a replacement at a discounted rate. Hmmm.





This is a $500 item and for me that's not cheap. I'm sure they deal with bigger companies with bigger purchases and my business is nothing to them. But when you're paying for a high ticket electronic item -- you at least expect some kind of repair service! Buyer Beware! Don't buy from these people. They don't care about customers -- all they care about is the bottom line.

Upper Management did right by me and took immediate action and reparation when I needed help. 

The company President called directly. She listened and gave me her time. All I wanted was help in getting my equipment fixed but she generously sent me a brand new one at no cost. I'm very grateful.
