The best way to describe Denise Winston is ready fire aim!  I found that Denise Winston just shoots from the hip when it comes to matchmaking.

In her apartment in Manhattan, I met with Denise Winston to discuss what I was looking for in a relationship with a woman.  My guidelines were simple:  I do not want to have kids; I am allergic to cats and dogs.  That was the extent of my list to this matchmaker who never took any notes during our meeting.  I also stated that I was open about religion.

What I received were introductions to women who wanted to have kids, and had a lot of pets.  I also met a lot of women who rejected me because of different religions.  Why did Denise not screen this out?  If a woman is of a certain religion, and wants a man of the same religion, do not introduce her to a man of a different religion.  The same can be said of a woman wanting to have kids.

My last introduction says everything about Denise's incompetency as a matchmaker.  I stated that I would not want to be introduced to any women who were overweight.  In walked a woman who was close to forty pounds overweight.  I called Denise about this only to be told that when Denise had last seen this woman, four months earlier, she did not appear to be that fat.  What an answer.

I really question wheather or not Denise has a substantial data base of clients.  Many of the introductions that I received were to women who were Denise's friends.  Why?

Denise does not have a web page which is a bit odd. 

I believe that Denise's strategy is to just throw two people together, and hope for the best.  She claims her way to obtain clients is that people are referred to her, and she goes to events in New York City.  That does not sound like a marketing plan to me.

I would advise staying away Denise Winston.  Her data base of clients is too small,; she just does not think about the introductions she is making.
