Denison Landscaping Inc. is correct in stating that approximately 6 years ago we contracted with them to install a patio, design and install a two tier wall, and install plants and 3 trees--not 6.  What they are not admitting is that 6 of the bushes died almost immediately and the wall that was installed is not the wall that William ordered and the wall was never completed. Denison installed the wrong wall and I (Denise) reluctantly agreed to let it remain in place.  William asked them to remove the wall and install the correct one.  They were suppose to come back and complete the wall and they never did.  William called them at least twice a year for the last 6 years and was promised that they would come and complete the job.  Most of his calls were to Frank Denison and many times Frank promised to come by and look at the half completed job.  Finally, Frank came by last fall (2011).  William saw him pull up, go and look at the work and expected that he would  call him to discuss and he never did.  William's other calls to Frank were ignored.  Finally, before posting this on Rip Off Report, I decided to try one last time to convince them to come and complete the work.  I spoke on at least 3 occassions with Peggy Unkle the Executive Assistant and she assured me that she would get this completed.  Peggy Unkle, like Frank Denison chose to ignore us.  Peggy initially told me that she would talk to the Owner and one of them would get back to me by the next day and after that did not happen, I called until I could reach her and she told me that they had been busy and someone would get back to me.  Peggy never returned my call.  Peggy absolutely blew me off and had no intentions of getting this resolved.  I had hoped to not have to keep debating this issue but felt it necessary so that no other consumer ends up with a half completed job done by Denison Landscaping Inc.  Denison's work is not cheap and I disagree with their statement that they take all complaints seriously because they ignored our complaint and never completed our job.  And, had they completed the job timely, it would not be falling apart now.  We paid a lot of money to have a wall that is now falling down.  So, if you want a wall that is complete and will last longer than 2 years, try someone other than Denison's Landscaping.  

Several years ago, 6 years and 8 months to be exact, Denison Landscaping was contracted by William Stevenson. Denison was contracted to install a 11' x 11' paver patio, design and install a two tier wall, remove and replace front foundation plant material, and plant 9 trees in the backyard. This work was completed. All contracted sizes and counts were exceeded.

On November 21, 2011, "Denise from Upper Marlboro, MD" filed a negative complaint against Denison on the website "ripoff report." Denison takes all complaints very seriously, including the one posted by Denise.

Whereas the complaint stated "several years ago," it did not clarify that the work in question was completed over six and a half years ago and to the satisfaction of William, the person who contracted Denison. There has been no complaint in over six and a half years, until this listing.

Denison stands by their 38 year reputation and is disturbed that any negative comment can be posted on the web without verifiaction of facts.
