Dennis Ladigrin/Rick Roberts Horrible apartment manager and landlord Cincinnati Ohio

 Do not rent here!! We looked at the apartment where we are unfortunately now living in November. We were told by Rick Roberts that the heater would be fixed..it is free heat but the knob is broken and it cannot be turned off. He also said that the carpet would be cleaned and the walls would be painted, "it's the least we can do." The carpet is filthy and the walls were not painted. The bathroom walls to the shower were filled with mold and were coming down. He said that it would also be done before we moved in. It wasn't. They had a whole 30 days to do the work. Weeks after we moved in the bathroom was done..well not really. We spent our own money fixing it right. The guy they hire Don Deters, he calls himself a plumber does not know how to fix anything to save his life! We told Rick Roberts our fridge wasn't running properly. He came to our apartment and said it was fine. He put his hand on the front of the metal shelf and said it was cool. The thermomometer read 45. He said that it was good. I repeatidly told him it was not. He got mad and said I was opening a can of worms by asking for a signed copy of our lease. He said that the fridge was between me and Dennis now. He said he wasn't the apartment manager and that he paid his rent and he was not the fix it man. He said he was going to call Dennis. Dennis called me and yelled at me and said I was crazy and that the fridge was running properly. I told him no and I can't repeat what he said along with "get out." I said I wasn't going anywhere and I signed a lease. He asked me when we moved in!!

Three weeks later the fridge was replaced. All that time we had to put a ton of ice in the fridge to keep it cold. We sent a letter to the owner saying we would like to have our heat fixed and then we got a 30 day notice to leave. Then Rick Roberts punched my husband. He then ran and got in the maintenence guys van(Don Deters)and stayed gone. The police and peremedics came. Rick Roberts is being investigated by a detective. He sweet talked his way out of getting arrested the next day when the police came. Since then the tenant bathroom downstairs between the washer and dryer has been locked with writing on the door saying "not for tenant use", the walkways and sidewalks have not been shoveled when it has snowed and no salt either. Before all of this it was salted at least. The downstairs rug at the rear entrance has disappeared and the floor there is super slick and the chair in the laundry room has been taken away.
