DENNIS'S one stop auto shop DENNIS'S auto repair my vehical was damaged while in for repair . not the same price as agreed on . hazel green Alabama

i have a 2000 dodge neon . i had a rebuilt jasper brand engin installed a little over 1 year ago that is still under warrenty . i was having an issue with oil light coming on at idle . the people at jasper engines told me to find a shope to take the car to that would work under the warrenty guidlines of : $60.00 per hour shop rate and did not mind waiting for their money until warrenty check could be sent to the shop after repairs were finnished . i found a automotive repaire shop close to me that installs "jasper engines" . the shop name was DENNIS'S auto repair in hazel green AL. . i took the car in to them with a hand writen note from me that  gave the $60.00 per hour amount , the claim number from jasper engines and a note at the bottom that said in caps DO NOT DO ANY REPAIRS NOT COVERED 100% UNDER WARRENTY .                                          the next afternoon i got a call from DENNIS'S  and he said the problem was not covere under the warrenty because the oil pressure was fine , the problem was comming from a bad oil pressure sending unit and not the oil pump , and i owed him $107.00 for checking the oil pressure since it was not a warrenty covered issue . i asked if he had saw the note not to do any thing not covered under  warrenty . he said he did see  it but this had to be done to find the trouble . (what i did not tell him to begin with is that i am a retired auto mecanic of almost 10 years that has a bad back ) .                                                  i told him $ 107.00 was high for an oil pressur test , then he said it was for an oil pressure test , new oil sending unit , and tighting a lose belt , that it broke down to : $ 70.00 dollars per hour shop labore , and $ 25.00 for the new oil  pressure sending unit . being a mecanic i already knew if the problem was not the oil pressure it had to be the sending unit ! so i had already check prices on the part  and the oil pressure sending unit would only cost me or him $ 12.00 and change at the local auto parts store . ( so at this point he was trying to charge me $70.00 per hour instead of the agreed $60.00 per hour , he was trying to charge me $ 25.00 for a $ 12.00 part , and he was trying to charge me for tighting a belt that on my car is SELF ADJUSTING ! ) .                                                                                                                                                   he said the agreement of $ 60.00 per hour was with jasper and not me , for me to pay it would be $ 70.00 per hour . i told him i did not want the new sending unit installed and not to adjust any belts . he aid in that case it would only cost me $ 70.00 for 1 hour labor for checking the oil pressure .(whitch BTW is only 1/2 hour to do according to labor hour guid book ) . i told him i would pay the $ 70.00 just to get my car back and i would be down in a few min. . i got there , gave him his $ 70.00 and got in my car to leave when i noticed my drivers door panel had been partly pulled lose and was shaking when i  closed the drivers door . i went back in and told him about it , and he said " i did not do anything to your door , i cant help you " .                                                                                                                                                                     when i got home and looked over the car , i noticed he had a hand print on the bottom of the door where he was under the car and had grabed the door to get up off the ground , his other hand had braced his self on the door pannel when he was getting up off the ground and had pulled the door panel lose !!!  i have worked on cars for almost 10 years , i would have done this work my self but i have a bad back so dont work on cars much any more . but from now on i will grab a pain pill and a ratchet and do it my self before i will go threw this kind of crap again warrenty work or not  !!!
