These people put a roof on an elderly disabled woman's house without a signed contractual agreement and then attempted to charge her over $26,000.00 for a basic composition roof for a 2,000 square foot house with a very simple roof. Ted Jones (salesman) and Jon Seibert (manager) appear to prey on the elderly and conspired with USAA to attempt to charge this kind of money for a roofing job that normally would be under $10,000.00. As far as I am concerned, this is not civil, it's downright criminal. I could care less about their "hand driven roofing nails" and their "special warranty," as far as I am concerned there is a special place in HELL for these "good Christian people" who scam the elderly. The "owners", Alan and Linda Chamberlain will not come to the phone and appear not only to be allowing these clowns to run their business but to also be encouraging their behavior.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!!!

Denton Trinity is a solid, reputable roofing company

AUTHOR: Charlie in Denton - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 16, 2016

I ran across this consumer complaint as I looked up Denton Trinity's number, and wish to respond.

I have used Denton Trinity successfully for about five repairs, so when it came time to replace the roof on my home, I selected them to replace my roof (no insurance involved).  They did an excellent job and while their price wasn't the cheapest bid I received, I chose them based on the quality of work they had done for me in the past. That was in 2009

I used them again last week for a quick repair at my office.  They came out and did a great job at a fair price.

I was disappointed to see the complaint and can't speak to those details, but if you're considering this company, I continue to recommend them to my friends.

OK so as a comeback you accuse an elderly disabled person of insurance fraud?

AUTHOR: Patricia - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 29, 2012

OK so their only comeback is to accuse the elderly disabled homeowner of insurance fraud.  That's a pretty cheap shot if you ask me.  Sounds like they wanted to charge what they wanted to charge and then were STUPID enough to do the work without a contract.

If composition roofs for 2,000 square foot houses in Texas are going for the kind of price they tried to charge the homeowner, then I need to go into the roofing business in Texas.  I would be a millionaire overnight.  Sounds like the roofing company and the insurance company are in a conspiracy...I bet the Department of Justice would love to take care of BOTH of them.

Please state what you paid out of pocket

AUTHOR: voiceofreason - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 18, 2012

The total cost of the roof is really neither here nor there if it was agreed to by your insurer. What was your deductible and what did you end up paying out of pocket?
If you paid more than your deductible, why?
If you didn't, where were you ripped off?

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Denton Trinity Roofing

AUTHOR: Denton Trinity Roofing - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 18, 2012

Denton Trinity Roofing categorically denies the possibility of this allegation by an anonymous party.

Clearly this person is unhappy with our pricing however in this instance he/she mentions the insurance company and Denton Trinity Roofing are in a conspiracy. Denton Trinity Roofing is a preferred provider for many insurance companies which means we are contractually obligated to do work from an industry standard price list. The complaint we hear most often is that we will not cover deductibles which is considered fraud by the State Of Texas. Perhaps this has made this person unhappy.
