Denver Business College charged me for classes never took and closed school after class action suit so i never completed courses Honolulu Hawaii

in the early ninties i attended Denver Business Col. in honolulu, hawaii...the lady made it all seem so good i could have my degree in graphic arts in no time, sounded so good and i had waited for years to go back to school and get a degree...i sat and talked to several people at the school, had a walk thru and was a sured that i would have job placement help after graduation...

it all started out ok and i breezed right along for the first few weeks then suddenly my teacher took ill and never returned...for two month i went to that school no teacher and had to teach my self the programs on the pc, i struggled but i managed...when the term reports came out i had grades in classes i didn't even attend...in the mean time the school was recieving checks for me from the loans and the were signing and cashing them and i wasn't even seeing them...there are loans i didn't even know about till years later...there was a class action suit againest them and wierd thing about it is when the did the final tally i ended up owing them?? i tried to understand it then but said ...what ever as long as i can go back and finish my schooling and the school agreed ... i went to sign up so that i could finish (and actually take the classes they had charged me for) but get this when i went to go in for first day of class they had shut the school down and a different school opened up (another diploma mill) ... when i asked the people what happened to the Denver Business Col. people they said they had no idea who i was talking about...

i tried contacting their main head quarters and suddenly the school had vanished from the earth...i am unable to work due to knee injuries i got in the military...(i did have VA help years before but due to a doctors misconduct lost my VA help for several years and it was re-enstated a few years after this mess) i wonder since i was a disabled vet at the time do you think they still might help me out with this bill ...hummm....

i hate this loan hanging over my head but due to my knees it is hard for me to get a job and have a dibilitating stomach problem also (for give my spelling)...i have tried to look up information on this and have had no luck, even looked up information on their class action suit and couldn't find anything about it...hummm...i have tried to talk to the people who bought my loan trying to tell them that i didn't even apply for half of those loans that it was done with out my permission and i didn't even sign them...in fact i have copies of the ones i signed...i don't have copies of any of the checks they got or what amounts...i tried to explain this so many times but it has fallen on deaf ears...

i am 47,000 dollars in debt with a school that was supose to cost me 8 grand what the hell happened...i am at a loss i need some help on this...i am raising two grand children and have their future to worry about and i should not have to burden my husband with a situation that happened before i met him...(we have an off on again relationship)...i just want this to go away but it won't so i need to find some way to fix this mess...
