Department of Law and Investigation - Associated Courthouse Services - Cashnet Marketing Affidavit against me and if I didn't pay within 3 days, they would take me, my daughter and son and put us behind bars Acorn City, New York

A man by the name of Gary Thompson, reportedly, a Jr. legal counselor called my daughter and my son within minutes of each other threatening them by saying if I didn't contact them by the end of the day, then they could only wish them good luck on what was about to unfold around them.  I called the number that was left and no one answered my calls.  A different man called my daughter back again today with another threat.  I again attempted to call the number and no one answered my call.  I phoned my daughter back and told her that no one was answering so she called the number back and they answered.  The man finally told her to have me call back in two minutes or else...well, already pissed and aware that this was a potential scam, I waited about five minutes to call him back just to piss him off.

I got pretty much the same story as all other reports.  They claimed I had taken out a payday loan and never repaid so now I was guilty of fraud and that my s/s # had been blocked, I was about to lose my job and they were going to put me, my daughter and son behind bars.  Let me also point out that I couldn't understand a word he was saying, so I said, "I mean no disrespect, but you have a different dialect than I do and I can't understand what you're saying."  His reply was that he would speak slowly and asked me which part I didn't understand.  I asked the man his name and told him I was driving down the road and couldn't concentrate at the moment and that I would call him back when I got home.  He said his name was Jack Smith or Schmitt.  I said, who'd have thought your name would be Jack Smith, you sound like you're from Pakistan/India/any other 3rd world country.  His reply was that he was using a high tech voice decoder that made him sound like he was from a different country.  My reply, "technology is an amazing thing isn't it and you'd have thought with all of your technology and federal back up and all of the thirteen lawyers and federal agents listening in on this phone call, that, someone, may have been able to find out my home number and call me directly".  He fell for it, and said, thank you so much for working to resolve this issue...blah, blah, blah!!

Bottom line he wanted me to pay $526 within 3 days and by tomorrow wanted me to fax him a statement saying I would not dispute this claim and wanted my credit/debit card number, etc...  He stated that I would need to have the statement notarized and I told him I was a Notary.  He said, really, a Notary Officer, well don't worry about getting it notarized.  He also said, you will not be paying me, you will be paying the courthouse.  I asked the name of the courthouse and he said ACS, and I said, which stands for what, his reply was Associated Courthouse Services.  I asked for an address and he said he couldn't provide that. I told him I wasn't sending any money any where until I had an address and again tried to get the name of the Payday loan company he claimed that I owed.  He again, said he couldn't provide that.  I told him it was my right as an American citizen to have this information.  He said he needed to clear with his boss and put me on hold.  He had made an earlier statement claiming he was in charge...go figure!!  He came back with an address that doesn't exist on the WWW.

I plan on contacting authorities in the morning and filing a complaint.  And I agree with an earlier statement...get a real job or go back to your own country!!!
