Beware!!!!!   (213) 261-6494

I received a voice message yesterday from a foreign speaking man that I could hardly understand.  He stated that this is a legal matter and he need to speak with me or my attorney.  He also said that if he does not hear from me that he would like to wish me luck on the events that will unfold upon me.  He called that number back and a lady answered stating she is the attorney.  She stated that I owed a pay day loan and the have 3 charges on me that they are suing for.  I do remember she said it was bank acct. fraud and check fraud.  She stated that they gave me a loan and when they tried to retrieve the money back the acct. was false.  I have never received a payday loan but I have applied for one and turned it down before there were any funds exchanged.  The woman then told me that documentation would be delivered to my job tomorrow morning.  I spoke with a friend (police investigator) and he stated not to worry about it unless I get the papers it is probably a scam.  It scares me because I have already had to deal with identity fraud with the IRS at the beginning of this year.

I thought everything was over but then this morning he called again.  He told me that they have a legal case against me.  I told him that my husband was an officer and there are no papers coming for me.  He stated well they will be there tomorrow.  I told him that I needed this acct. number that the money was supposedly transferred to?  He actually had my account number.  (SCARY!)  I said well give me the date it was deposited and the amount.  He said that he does not have that information that I needed to call this same number back and ask for Alex Watson.  I called right back and the same person answered and stated he was Alex Watson.  Before I could even tell my name he said "I know you Ms. ____ and the police will be coming to your job in a couple of hours to arrest me" and then hung up.

I was devastated so I searched the internet and found these other claims of this same so called person and the same harassment.  I was on the way to the sheriffs office so I thought I would call back and tell them I wanted no trouble to see if I could get some kind of acct. numbers to give the police.  He told me after calling a few times that I need to stop playing games.  I told him that my husband said there are no warrants for my arrest.  He said he did not give a d**n and he said well they will be coming to pick me up tomorrow.  I lost my temper and told him they were a F****ing scam and I am looking at them on the internet and they are a scam.  I then proceeded to tell him to kiss my a** and and never call me again and then hung up on him.

I have not heard from them since but I have reported it to the police, the local newspapers, and the state news stations.  The police have been calling these people all day and they told them that they are going to take warrants for them as soon as they find out who they are (Criminals).

This is ridiculous that people can view all your personal information and harass you and get away with it.  The Federal Trade Commission has told me there is a publication for April 2012 showing how they sued a company for this same exact thing but I don't think that these people are even in the country and they will get away with this.

I have found on this site the same information but there are several numbers they are calling from.  When the sheriffs office did call these numbers; most of them were disconnected.

Tell everyone you know to beware and never apply for a pay day loan ever!!!!
