derek robbins coach derek robbins this guy made me & my family a promise to purchase a resturaunt and ripped us off. corona, California

Back in Feb. of 2009 derek robbins who is my cousins husband asked me to join him in a business partnership.He explained that the resturaunt was offered to him by his good friend steve nolan.who currently owns the resturaunt.BACKWOODS BBQ off of Green river Rd. in the city of corona.I told him i needed to speak it over with my family and would let him know when i was ready to make decision.He then came to my grandmothers house where he began his expert sales pitch of this resturaunt and how we were going to make millions of dollars together.He even brought picture layouts of how the place was going to look.After showing his presentation to us he stated that we would have only 2 other partners who had already given him their money to invest in his idea.So my grandmother cut him a check for 25,000us dollars and he promissed us that we just made the best investment of our lives.and that our children would be set for life.

     April came and Derek asked me to leave my job so i could help him to open the resturaunt.He said we needed to get all of the permits & license fees taken care of.He also said that we needed to fix the place up and give the resturaunt a new look.he asked told me that he needed me to start working with him right.he told me to leave my job since we were gonig to make thousands more.I told him that i would & did.A week passed & during a family gathering my grandmother asked when is the resturaunt going to open.He replied by the end of this month.we also asked him when i was going to start work he said next week.He then asked me for another 5,000.00us dollars so we could buy items needed for the resturaunt.my grandmother cut him another check because we still trusted him.

     Next week never came.I contacted the other business partners and set up a meeting.in that meeting derek said we would open in may and that we needed to get the place ready to open.We painted and remodeld the place.During this perod of time he would constantly asure us that everything was going to be fine.May came and so did june.We had several meetings with derek.all of them went fine until we asked him about his share of the contribution and when we were going to open.He would get loud and angry telling us how it was all his idea and without him we would not be a part of this opportunity.

     July came and I was unemployed.Thanks to this guy i could no longer support my family.My 3 children lost their medical insurance, and I did not qualify for unemployment.In august i began doing more research on him.My grandmother told me that he was also selling a house for her in santa ana since he knew about real estate.I asked her how long ago and she said around 4 years.I found out that derek & my cousin were renting out the house the wholetime.Collecting rent and also took out loans on the house totaling over a million US dollars.My grandparents ended up losing that home.It was a devestating to the entire family.

     After finding out that derek robbins was a staright out crook,liar and a low life.i want everyone to know that if he is ripping off the people in his family who by the way pretty much supported him for the past decade.then what do you think he would do to an avearge citezen.
