Bought a 2016 Cherokee and within a week there was smoke coming from under the hood and a bad burning oil smell. Took four trips to the dealership before some actually decided to look...the transfer case was bad. At the same time there were several areas of interior trim that were failing. They had my Jeep altogether a month, which qualified it as a lemon, except their computer said that it was only there 26 days (after they had told me 29 prior to the last appoint). After the fifth attempt at fixing the interior, the molding didn't match the material and didn't fit correctly, there was headliner that was fraying in multiple places, and the installer actually broke the headliner (large crack) and tried to hide it.The service manager (Jack) told me that they could replace the headliner 10 times, and there would always be a problem because they couldn't do the same job as the factory. He then lied to Jeep Corporate and told them the work was as good as new, looked like a new Jeep, and that I was satisfied......but wait, this story gets worse

After this experience I immediately traded the Jeep in for a Subaru. I received my payoff letter from the financier and took it to the Desert 215 Super Store to get a refund on the extended warranty I had purchased. A month later and nothing. I checked with the warranty company and the warranty was still active. I called the dealership and was told that they had used the wrong form, and they'd have to resubmit it.

This week (six weeks after applying for the refund) I got a call from the dealership saying that my warranty would not be refunded because the payoff letter said "I MAY be entitled to a refund"....they said unless the letter said "I should be entitled to a refund", then they would refuse to cancel the extended warranty on a vehicle I no longer own....to me this is blatant stealing. As it stands the financier said this was insane, but that the payoff letters are computer generated and they cant alter them. So the scumbags at Desert 215 Super Store just stole $2000 from my family and I. These people have lied and screwed me over at every turn. They also don't take or return phone calls when they know someone is angry, and lie about their names and titles over the phone.

Please learn from my mistake and avoid this dealership at all costs. Also, I'm a lifelong Jeep enthusiast, Ive owned several. The Jeep brand has been  completely ruined. All you have to do is look at the 2017 Consumer Reports Car Guide, where they couldn't recommend a single Chrysler/Jeep vehicle....and the Cherokee (55) was the lowest rated SUV...dead last.
