Desert Shores Aquistion Group found property for me to rehab. Some time after closing an error was discovered on the closing documents and the company owed me a payment for taxes that had been improperly calculated. The title company and Desert Shores and myself all agreed on the amount and that the money was owed to me. On several occasions they even said they had the check in hand and that they would deliver it today. I have texts on my phone to that affect saying we will drop it off for you today and sorry for the delay. That was probably 8 months ago and then they just stopped answering the phone and never paid. This is an obvious case of simply not wanting to pay their debts and choosing to try to ignore them rather than deal with the situation. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB and the company ddi not acknolwedge the complaint in any way. Steer clear of them if you are looking for an upstanding business partner.

Agreement has been reached to my complete satisfaction. I recently became aware that, although both the title company and Desert Shores Acquisitions Group agreed a miscalculation was made and money was owed to me, there was confusion about whether it should be paid by title company or DSAG.
I had not been able to make contact with Desert Shores for several months when I filed this report. When they became aware of the report, they contacted me to resolve the issue. There is a check waiting for me at the title company in the amount of the miscalculated taxes.
