Designers Choice This company lied to me Colleyville Texas

*REBUTTAL Owner of company: not true
This company sold me furniture that they claimed to be real wood and it was not. When the company delivered the furniture to my home, every piece was either damaged or broken.
The mirror that matched my bedroom set was broken, so i asked that they order me another one. Instead of ordering me another mirror, the owner of the store simply cut off the damaged part, and glued together pieces on the orginal mirror to make it seem like a new mirror. They then called me to let me know my "new" mirror was in and ready for pickup. I will never do business with this company again.

I did contact your company.... and was told a new mirror was being ordered for me because the first one that was delivered had a broken piece. When i got the call that my mirror was in, i came to pick it up.. it was not in a box, a new mirror would have been in a box, and when i got it home, held up the orginal broken piece that i had, and it fit perfectly to the part that had been shaven and colored with a furniture marker. The "new" mirror also had the same small blemishes as the "old" mirror.
As for the furniture not being real wood, its real obvious because when it was delivered to me, the knicks from the delivery showed that the decorative pieces of the wood had foam inserted into them. The furniture is not all real wood. The drawers in the dresser do not close properly as they are also misaligned. At this point I was so frustrated, and with the policy of no returns or a 20 percent stocking fee, I gave up and just kept my low quality furniture. I had also read about your track history of getting sued over selling a misrepresented mattress as well, and i saw those consumers won their case in court, but I do not have the time to go through all of that. So basically i spent over 2,000 dollars for furniture that is probaly worth who knows what. I just want other consumers to be aware.

i have the pictures of the mirror that was modified, pictures of the furniture that was damaged as well as an assesment from an apprasier that the furniture is not real wood. So yes, it is true, the company lied to me and did not order me a new mirror as promised.

This report is not true. The furniture the customer purchased is real wood also the mirror had nothing wrong with it. This person has never contacted our company with her problem.
