I was booked for a cinco de mayo promotion on April 13th 2012 by Misty the owner of DiamondGirlPromotions.com Through out the month of April i received at least 100 emails from her for upcoming promotions that were still available.

Being booked i was required to take and pass a 35 minute long training coarse. Not to mention an hour long conference call. Which i gladly did. I had turned down another promo for the same weekend, due to the fact Misty had already booked me.

April 27th rolls around and i have yet to receive event details. May 4th rolls around and i still have not heard from Erica or Misty. I finally sent Erica a "whats going on email" regarding the events details.

Her response verbatim: "Are you scheduled to work tomorrow?"
My response: " Yes, Absolutely"
She then never replied.

May 6th i sent Erica out a letter, Saying how unprofessional it was to not send me a cancellation email and because of that i now have lost wages. I wanted to be compensated $25 for the time i lost because i had turned down other opportunities to work for them. I mentioned that i was saving all these emails for my attorney.

Low and behold MISTY writes me and pretends she never had me confirmed for the event, I had the email she sent me confirming it. She then said the accounts switched and that models were re-staffed and that she emailed the notice to all her girls. Another Lie, She never sent me anything of the sort. I save every work related email just incase this kind of thing happened. SHe lied repeatedly and said that she apologized. I told her she should have sent me a cancellation email like every other company i work for, her response was " im too busy to contact each model individually" and that it was "my bad" for not realizing i was restaffed.

She then told me If i attended the conference call and passed my coarse she would pay me $7.50. $7.50 isnt even minimum wage MISTY. She then told me we werent going to see eye to eye and that i should stop contacting her. Basically fluffing me off and saying OH WELL. I know of two other girls that had THE SAME THING happen to them. Watch out for Misty and her company, She doesn't play by the rules. And its not fair.
