When Adam Dahan came to my home to give us an estimate on our property he gave us a binding estimate of 715 cu. ft.and a cost of $2800.00. As the mover came (in a budget rental truck) He changed the estimate to 810 cu. ft. and charged us an extra $160.00 for tape.
The property was moved to the warehouse in San Diago and sat for about a week in their warehouse and communication between Adam and the phone receptionist, Danielle were so off that we got several eta's on our property.
As the property finally arrived 2 weeks and 2 days after it being picked up from Hesperia, Ca. and moved to Statesville NC. the the driver rolled up on the front lawn and unloaded the property without taking an inventory of all the property. As my wife and I were unpacking I had noticed that a footlocker that I had put some boxes in to save space had been opened(was not secured by the first crew) and several boxes of sportscards and some Air Force coins were missing.
I had contacted Danielle and Adam by e-mail about the problem and they said they will look into the situation. That was on a wed. I am writing this on a sat. with no update as of yet. 05/12/12

This guy is a scam artist, seemingly still doing business after he ripped me off in 2010. Used to be OCO Transportation.....changed name to Diamond Van Lines. Report then sue in small claims. You can file long distance in San Diego Superior Court, then, you need to write a letter to the DA....this guy needs to be stopped.

I too dealt with Adam Dahan as OCO. All he did was change the company name, running same scam. I sued and got my money back (small claims). I am also preparing to report him to the DA in San Diego as the "testimonial" letters he had when he was OCO are the same now that he is Diamond Van Line...that is known as fraud. All he did was change the name of the company and the date of the letter. This proves his client "testimonials" are fabricated, no wonder I could not reach any of them when I tried to.
Report this company to every website about moving scams, and, report to the department of transportation. It is one of my goals to see this company shut down so that no more people fall for his lies.
Do not expect him to call you back, if he does he will accuse you of having hidden rooms that you did not show him during his "walk through", that you are to blame and that there never was the "items" you claim are missing. His office is actually his apartment, that should tell you something. If you need info in order to file a suit against him, you can contact me at kmmpom@gmail.com.
