I had been in contact with the d**k Hannah Dealership to help me get out from underneath my current vehicle. I gave them the whole story about being upside down in my current loan, I gave them all of my information and they said they would go to work for me. Soon I received a call saying they are looking everything over and asking me what kind of cars I was interested in, I told them I needed something with better gas mileage and a better interest rate, they said they were putting that in the file they created for me and would be in touch when they had word. Keep in mind they led me to believe they were already running my credit etc. etc. The one positive thing I will say is that they kept in touch with me really well.

They contacted me and said they had really good news, they had me pre-approved and when can we set up an appointment for me to go over and pick out a car, I live 3 hours from the dealership I was to meet them at and I set the appointment up and let them know I was very leery about going that distance and having them tell me when I get there that they can't help me. They told me repeatedly that I had nothing to worry about and that since I was pre-approved it was just a matter of finding the right car for me.

The day came for me to drive over and I still had my worries so I called them to find out which company had me pre-approved and they gave me a couple of companies one of which my current car loan is with so I thought ok this might just be ok.

I go to their lot in Albany and come to find out thye had me repeat and write down all the information again, they never had a finance companies pre-approval and they had to submit my information to the bank. I mentioned I didn't want a higher car payment and that I was told that I was pre-approved with no money down. I found a car I liked and then he ran the information all the while keeping me in the dark and never once when I asked him repeatedly would he tell me the price of the car!

After about an hour I got very impatient and trqacked him down, he took me into an office area and said he would be right back, about 10 minutes later he came back with the deal, if I could give them just $5000.00 down he could get me into the carr for $200.00 more a month than I was currently paying on my car! I said no thank you fill my gas tank so I could go home. I got a voucher for the gas and was on my way. They were totally mis representative of what they lead you to believe on the phone and all I can say is beware!!
