Very unethical company, stays in a constant state of having to hire new techs because he refuses to pay in a reasonable amount of time. (for example with gas prices as they are , as a tech you are expected to continue to operate "without" a paycheck, because because he claims he has not been paid by the retailer yet. ( for example i have been paid for 2 jobs out of 22 total in a period of over of nearly six weeks.
however this is the kicker, because he is an independent contractor, he imposes outrageous fees for anything outside of a standard roof install that uses existing cable in the customers home, one of the most unbelievably sleazy things he does and expects his techs to do , all in the name of "making money" is to take out the HDMI cables (used for HD tv connections), out of sight of the customer and then have the unmitigated gall to sell them back to the customer, which came with his/her equipment (and was mailed to the customer by DTV) at an outrageous price of one hundred dollars!!

Dear , thomas1982.352 - brooksville (United States of America), If you want to get your money from this man (unfortunately I did NOT) and you are in the state of Georgia , you will have to file a civil lawsuit, UNLESS, you were fortunate enough to not have signed the employee agreement. You see most people including me , even if they read it, DONT UNDERSTAND IT, but if gives him leeway to do you any way he pleases. If you see this, please contact this website and we will fight him together, when I left, I barely had enough gas to get home, Let's see, he keeps telling you that you just need to hang on a little bit longer, until he gets paid , then he'll pay you,-SOUND FAMILIAR?? , His dad is a lawyer, so you know ya dealing with a crook, two peas in the same money making, rip off pod!!! I did not even have the 150 dollars or so to come up with the money to take him to small claims court, I called him many times a day, he kept up his BS until I just gave up, maybe together we can expose him to DIRECTV AND THROUGH ENOUGH BAD PUBLICITY, THEY WILL DUMP HIS SORRY (you know what self). Anyway read this and get back to me, I KNOW FOR A FACT HE OWES ME AT LEAST 2 GRAND. GET IN TOUCH!!!!!

Let us make this short and sweet , If you do not want to be ripped off, either as a customer or a technician, please be grateful for the Rip-Off Report and heed this, "A WORD TO THE WISE IS SUFFICIENT". I can only wish I had listened to my premonition about this man and his company, and by the way ask the boss how many times his techs have run out of gas because they were being strung along about being paid. PEOPLE PLEASE USE YOUR GOOD COMMON SENSE, HIS MOMMY WORKS THE OFFICE AND HIS DADDY IS AN ATTORNEY, THINK ABOUT IT. How many times folks have you only wished someone would have told you before you made that really bad decision, well I'm tellin ya now. GOD BLESS ALL.

Response to complaint by "Anonymous"
AUTHOR: Digital Innovations - (U.S.A.)

This complaint by "Anonymous" is totally unfounded. Our payments to subcontractors are made on time and in accordance with contract terms. Subcontractors get paid a basic rate according to the job and standard installation work is always free to the customer. Additional services, known as custom fees, may or may not be required or desired by the customer. Any custom fees are collected by the subcontractor and do not benefit the company in any way; i.e., they represent additional revenue only for the subcontractor. All fees are reasonable and customary, and established by the provider itself. Moreover, if we discover a subcontractor fraudulently charging custom fees for standard installation work, or otherwise overcharging on installation services, we would then terminate our relationship with the subcontractor and make refunds to the effected customers.
Anonymous admittedly was not one of our customers. We believe he is simply a disgruntled former subcontractor, previously hired by us to perform satellite installations. We hire a great many such subcontractors for this purpose and most fulfill their obligations in a timely and conscientious fashion. Unfortunately, Anonymous opted to become an exception to this rule. His work was less than satisfactory and he quit without notice, leaving numerous jobs unfinished. Per our contract with Anonymous, we retained the small amount of money owed to him as a setoff against the greater damages caused to us through his breach of contract. This is the real basis of his spurious "rip-off" claim.

THIS INDIVIDUAL WAS ONCE EMPLOYED BY MASTEC, WHO UNBEKNOWNST TO MOST PEOPLE IS THE COMPANY THAT DOES THE INSTALLS AND SERVICE CALLS FOR DIRECTV. NOW THESE SHADY CONTRACTORS WHO KNOW THE ROPES, ALSO KNOW THAT DIRECTV'S MAIN PURPOSE IS TO GET THERE SYSTEMS INSTALLED ASAP, SO IF THERE IS A DISCREPANCY WITH THE INSTALLATION, DTV CAN SIT BACK AND SAY "IT'S NOT MY PROBLEM" BECAUSE DTV DOES NOT DIRECTLY HIRE INSTALLATION STAFF THAT WORK FOR THEM. SO DTV IS NOT GONNA BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS IT. CONVERSELY GREED SEEMS TO BE THE DRIVING FORCE HERE, NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE, NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND CERTAINLY NOT ANYTHING THAT MIGHT SAVE THE CUSTOMER MONEY. I LEARNED A LONG TIME AGO THAT WORD OF MOUTH ADVERTIZING CAN MAKE OR BREAK ANY COMPANY, BECAUSE IF THEY ARE NOT IN IT FOR THE LONG RUN, YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF, IF IT WALKS LIKE A CROOK, LOOKS LIKE A CROOK, TALKS LIKE A CROOK THEN ITS PROBABLY A CROOK
