My business dealings with DMS Marketing,

We contacted them about buying a software package for a Penny Auction site, The quote given for a turn key package was 550.00. We accepted and paid the first of 4 payments of 1375.00. The time frame for completion was to be 30 to 45 days. After 7 days Phillip requested another payment for 1375.00, We paid within 4 hours. Then again in week 3, another payment was requested for 1375.00 and we paid within 2 hours.

We now had a basic site to view. Everything seemed to be in order and a launch date was set for about 7 to 10 days. The site was launched and we were told that there would be "minor" issues could need to be tended to and kindly let them know of our findings.

We began to test, there were more issues than working areas with the software. We were told to give them a list, we did, it had almost 100 errors and dead links that needed to be corrected before we could even post our first item.

Several of the errors were corrected which Phillip saw as "upgrades" we saw these as errors preventing the site to work properly.

Now we posted a few test auctions, these also didn't work, the next 2 weeks was all about sending e mails back and forth. We were now officially behind schedule as to the original agreement of 45 days.

The site was now offline and we were told that a new version 5 was about to be released and we would be first to have it. The version 5 did come in about 3 additional weeks, The site was still plagued with endless errors and dead links, nothing seemed to be going our way but we were assured that all would be fixed.

We were then told that we would need to send 1056.00 for a years hosting, Originally we were told that DMS would host it and we would be able to move it whenever we wanted to our own server company. We paid the additional 1056.00 within minutes not wanting to delay the project any further.

We had multiple launch dates, all costing us 1000's in wasted traffic money, no launch dates lasted more than 6 hours as all launch dates required the site to be taken off line for "updates"

Phillip now claimed that their server was inadequacy and we would need something new, at our expense of course. I asked for my server money to be returned by DMS as it was a complete failure. I was first told that they understood and would promptly return the 1056.00. Nothing arrived.

Now Phillip tells me he wants the final payment for the non working software of 1375.00 before he returns the server money. ( I was born at night, just not last night )

At this point I decided to pull the plug and cut my losses, total loss including traffic, banners, advertisements plus nothing for labor is 12,000.00
