Digital Tech Gear Sent money and did not receive the product - they are an internet scam Southfield Michigan

My daughter searched the internet for the best price for an Apple i-Pod Touch. This company advertised the best price. The website seemed so legitimate -- connected to Yahoo and everything. They instruct you to purchase a Green Dot moneypak from CVS, Walmart or other large retailers. Also seemed legitimate. Then you email the number on the card and they send the product! Should have been a red flag.

They took $180.00 which my 14 year old worked hard to make babysitting this summer. When you research this company on google, they are a scam and have taken money from many people. I would advise anyone who purchases online to check the company first. I have bought tons of stuff for my business online and have never come across a scam. Do not buy anything from this company.

I am also worried about this Green Dot company as well. It is impossible to get through to their customer service number -- you have to have a 16 digit number and the card number is only 14 digits. I finally found an email address but haven't heard back from them either. I have also contacted the BBB, the Federal Trade Commission and Yahoo. You would think Yahoo would take care of this pronto because they wouldn't want their name affiliated with it. Anyway -- don't buy from Digital Tech Gear.
