I too, was taken in by whatever his real name is.  I did not like him the first time I met him, and should have trusted my instincts.  When we were doing the new hire information, "by the book", I got to see a copy of his sad little resume, and also his id.  He couldn't even produce a driver's license.  He had an old state id, probably 20 years old.  I guess his Driver's license and birth cert were in another name.  I could kick myself now over the whole thing.  Luckily, I am one who invested lots of time, and paid for a few dinners and some office supplies, but not a monetary investment like some other trusting souls did.  This is a guy who ripped off his church - so what does that tell you.  After the dust had settled, I found out he had even provided bogus fed, state and unemployment tax ids to his new payroll provider.  I know this to be fact.  Seems like every time there was a lunch or dinner meeting, he and his fam ordered lavishly from the menu, knowing it was a free meal.  I was taken in, along with several others, for baby showers, birthday parties, gifts, etc.  He didn't have to provide anything but empty promises and bullsh**.  It should have clued us all in when he promised his kids a trip to DisneyWorld, on a private jet no less, limo to the airport, the works - even had them invite friends - who were waiting at their house for something that never materialized.  People thing that Madoff was a master schemer, but he had nothing on Dino.  I'm not talking uneducated, desperate people here - I'm talking smart, savvy, successful people.  He was barred from viewing a house he wanted to "surprise" his wife with, because when the agent went to set up the appointment, he was told that Dino had previously written a bad check for the purchase price of the house, and that no one in the Maryland suburban area would give him the time of day.  I feel so sorry for everyone who was taken in by this dirtbag, and I hope he does become someone's girlfriend in jail, so he can get screwed like we did.  Bend over and smile Dino.
