I was not surprised to see that others also complained about this deceptive company. Many of the E-Cig companies offer the device for little or no cost so you buy the refill cartriges from them. Direct E-Cig was no different in that regard. They tell you it costs 10.99 and you can try thier E-Cig for free and never pay anything again if you do not like it. What they don't tell you until you have already put in your information and credit card is that they will start sending you the refills for 99 bucks 14 days after you order your direct E-Cig. This statement is in small print under the submit button on the site. I didn't even see it when I ordered. Put that info upfront if you are on the up and up..... don't trick people so you can get over on them for 99 bucks... I called and they were not refunding anything since it was over 14 days.... I offered to send the whole thing back. My sister got one from Blu which came with twice the product, no deceptive advertising and a recharge case all for 60 bucks. They don't auto sing you up for anything either. They even put business cards in because they know their product is worth recomending. Go with an honest maker! The E-Cig from Direct E-Cig is also inferior to Blu and I'm sure many others. After the first charge which lasted a long time, the second charge only lasted half the time. The actuall distributer of the Direct E-Cig that is deceiving customers is smokelessdirect.com and not Direct E-Cig. They should choose their distributers better though!
