These people called and claimed to represent Mastercard and Visa to reduce my credit card interest rates. They spent time getting my interest rates and saying they can reduce them to 6.9% or lower than my current rates are. After some fast talking on their part, they slip in the fact that they will be taking $990.00 for a processing fee. I asked why would I pay $990.00 and they said that it would come out of the savings that they could save me by reducing my interest. No money would actually come out of my charge account.
A month later I received a pamphlet thanking me for my confidence in their company, products and services, and said that they would do everything in their power to provide me with superior customer service. They said that they would do for me what my credit card lenders haven't done, lower my interest rates. This pamphlet explained that the money would be deducted from my charge account appearing as K&D Consulting on my next statement.
I then tried to contact the company via e-mail, phone, internet to no avail. At this point, I realized I was ripped off by a bogus company.
