Direct Lending Partners, Mallbanc Mortgage, Jeff Robinson, 1st Continental Mortgage,The Oasis Group, Will not pay employees and doesnt have the guts to even return a call Clearwater Florida

Made the mistake of going to work for this company a few months ago as a loan officer. Every loan I closed the checks were delayed for one reason or another. Each time they were lost I paid a stop payment fee for the checks to be replaced without complaining.

In June of this year I closed a deal and sent in the paperwork (the package was delivered the first week of July) and waited and waited some more. Finally I started trying to call the first week of August and as usual no one would return my calls from the payroll dept. So, I started calling some of the executives. I finally reached the VP, Bruce Southall and explained the situation to him. He told me he "would look into it" but the company was short staffed due to illness and a company sponsored fishing trip.

Of course there was never a return phone call. I left Bruce several messages and he never returned them. I tried emails also. Again they went unanswered. So I moved on to the President, Jeff Robinson. I tried emails and phone calls to him also and they were never answered.

From what I understand now they have merged or have been bought out by 1st Continental Mortgage in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Of course 1st Continental doesnt know anything about closed file and will not pay either, which is understandable.
