Back in 2000, I received a Direct Merchant's Master Card. My Credit limit was at $1500. When I got behind in payments/overextended, I sought out the help of a credit counseling service. Ammend Credit Counseling. They put me on their program, and Direct Merchant's Bank was one of the creditors and accepted their program. Again I never owed more than $1500.
They have been charging me outrageous amounts and now say I owe them $9200. They call me at work, threaten me, and said that Ammend Credit Counseling means nothing. Please help.
I have read many testimonials on line and numerous complaints as to their deceptive and unethical practices. I was trying to get everything in order, and they are the ONLY company that has done this. It is outrageous and wrong. Please Help.

Stephen
