Direct Mortgage Corporation ripoff not always truthful in lending practices, always check credentials Elgin Illinois

I went to Direct Mortgage for a refinance and cash out. This was not my first time to refinance, so i knew what questions to ask.

First how fast can this get done? I gave a time period that I needed. August 15th. My answer from them was no problem we will expedite it.

Next after having to keep track of everything they were doing because they were not happy that I was a customer that took charge of my loan.

Their appraiser didn't want to come this far so I hired my own appraiser that was from here.I had already given them 375.00 in which I was told was for appraisal.
After I informed them that I paid appraiser directly and could I get my check back , I was told it was for other things as well as appraisal. No one had ever informed me of that before.

They said they had to take it up with Andrea Ovington the manger.

They said they never give money back.

They sent my check back after I had to send them a check for 75. Never in the intial talk was I told there would be a fee that had to be paid along with their commision and brokerage fee.
