On 1/3/14 I went to a Bank of America to with draw $340 off my Direct Express Debit Card and nothing came out of the Machine. NO MONEY or RECIEPT. I called the Bank and got No response. I finally got through after Requesting a Suprvisor. After a Very Long Wait. I was told it would take 7 to 10 Busniss Days to Receive the Application and to Mail it Back. Then 45 Days for their Investigation. This Lost Money I didnt get is My SS Fund that I recieve ONCE A MONTH. I explained this to the Bank Mnagers; Direct Express; and All of the 1-800 Coustomer Rep that Bank of America told Me to Call and Direct Express. My Next Deposit of Funds wont come on My Card Until 2/1/14. I have No Money or Food and Cant pay My Bills. With ALL the Technology we have in this World and All the Moneny these Bank and Card Holders of Companies have. You would think there would Be some way to HELP ME OUT rather than the Steps I have to take. No they are not...

YOU are incorrect. They MUST follow these steps. This is to ensure that NO ONE is getting ripped off. Now I understand your situation and can empathize. But they DO NOT know if you are attempting to scam them. I understand WHY your upset, but you cannot blame them for protecting all parties involved. It has NOTHING to do with technology or the use of that technology. A investigation HAS to happen first. They have NO IDEA if YOU are just trying to rip THEM off or if there was a actual problem. Why would you think that THEY should JUST give you back this money??
You can try going to a few churches. They might be able to help you during this trying time. You can also see if your community has a FOOD BANK. You might also see if you can apply for emergency food stamps. No one can help you with the missing money until an investigation is completed. Its upsetting but you have to look at this situation from MORE then just your side of it. If this is your SS money, then you should be WISE enough to understand this. The American Consumer has lied, cheated, and scammed their way into getting free money off of scams like this. So if your upset, take it out on the people REALLY responsible for your situation. Your fellow Americans. Had they a bit more integrity or honesty this would never had been an issue.
All you can do is wait. Your bank is going to do whatever they can to help you out to resolve this issue, but they wont be giving YOU any money until they are sure it was a malfunction. All it really takes is someone to do a hard count on the ATM and see if the withdrawls given out match the current inventory of cash. But this takes time and the ATM has to be taken offline to do this. So it means late night counts. Try and be patient. They are not intensionally attempting to rip you off. There was a malfunction, they have sent you the paperwork to get this resolved. Yes you have no money and your mad. But thats no reason to file a FAKE report. All you have done is show YOUR immaturity level by doing so.
Wait until they rip you off. This bank has done NOTHING to rip you off and has not scammed you. You are a victim of Americans need to NOT have to deal with another person. Next time you wish to withdraw a large sum of cash, dont do it at the ATM. Do it in the bank. That way ANY mistakes can be taken care of right then and there.
