Our reciever has been missing channels from the first day we plugged it in several years ago. When we report it they go through the steps unplugg the reciever for 30 seconds, plug it back in, turn it on, now what does it say. Finally in June they actually came out to the house and stated that it was the card in the reciever and would send out on through the mail. When it came in we were to put into the reciever and then call them at the 1-800 number. The card never came ,we stopped paying. ON the 8th of August we finally recieved a call and he said he would make up the mistake. We had to pay the past due bill and then they would bring out 2 new recievers and a new dish since ours was now outdated. Everything was set to happen on the17th. Well guess what Now the want more money and they can't put in the new recievers until the 25th. They even want the money now. Well we told them we are not paying until we know they are really going to fix the problem. They aren't sending the truck until we pay. STANDSTILL, We ask to speak to a superviser who inturns just yells at us like we are just trying to dodge paying a bill. We ask to speak to a manager ,David ,just David because he refuse to give us a last name, says managers do not take phone calls and refused to let us talk to a manager. He implies he is the only one to talk to. He answer to him or he does not help us and we have to wait a week longer. Now my children who have been waiting all week have to wait. Directv. is a rip off. When you have a problem all they want to do is try and sell you another package and I have no idea where to go now to get the service we deserve. I would also like to make a formal complaint against this superviser David. Since when did it become okay to yell at a customer. Carolyn from Dayton Ohio

directv still good

sorry you had problems with directv, i am a local directv dealer in dayton ohio.we strive to have happy costomers  .please buy from a local dealer next time. we are charged back if a costomer disconnects, there for we offer local service, no 800 numbers, no waiting they hold me feet to the fire if we dont do a good job.


we offer a one year warranty, not no 90 days.


try dishnet work they have good deals too, buy local, save time and your money,hold the local  dealer accountable if your not happy. go see them in person.


 independent dealers care about you. this is how we make a living.
