Direct TV DVR Rebate is a complete rip off.

I bought Direct TV's DVR unit for Christmas for our family and I still have not recieved the rebate form or the rebate. I did download the reabate form on the internet and sent it in by the time required.

I recieved a letter from them saying I did not meet the critera for the rebate, I had to call and ask them what that was! They said it was not available to people that rented their equipment. To my knowlege that was not stated at the time of purchase. After calling them I got that changed because I had service with Primestar and all of my equipment is pretty old. They said to resubmitt and they would push it through. It is now a 6 month ordeal and no rebate check.

Direct TV also has hardly no one that can speak English well enough to even answer the phone, let alone help you with a problem.
