My vehicle was brought into their shop for the replacement of a broken windshield.  There is metal trim along the top edge of the windshield, fastened by plastic clips, and adhesive that needs to be removed.  The Toyota Factory Service Manual notes that this part is not reusable.  There is a cowling assembly consisting of three parts that needs to be removed as a single assembly.  It is fastened by plastic clips.  Finally, there is a rubber and metal weatherstrip along the bottom of the windshield that needs to removed.  It can be reused.
The shop broke most of the plastic clips that fasten the cowling assembly to the vehicle body.  This was not apparent until the vehicle was driven at highway speed causing the cowling assembly to nearly depart the vehicle.  The top metal trim was installed such that the rubber lip seal along its bottom edge did not contact the surface of the windshield.  This will allow rain to enter the space beneath the trim leading to hidden corrosion and eventual leakage and serious structural damage.
I returned the vehicle to the shop and confronted them with this information.  They took the vehicle back inside, out of my view, instead of making the necessary repairs, replacing the parts they broke, and installing the top trim properly, they used windshield adhesive/sealant to glue the cowling to the vehicle body.  They made no attempt to repair the top trim.  They lied to me about all this, and concealed the fact that they had broken numerous plastic fasteners.
