Discount Book Sales - DBS Etal Fraudulent Charges Boca Raton Florida

In May 2009, I bought a book from Discount Book Sales for my son for his birthday. Paid for the book, then in June and July DSB showed up on my statement where they had charged me $12.00 per month. I contacted my bank first and told them it was an unauthorized charge. I then went online only to find that this company had been fraudulently making monthly charges to others besides myself. This charge was an unauthorized monthly membership which was not indicated on the website when I purchased the book nor did I authorize a monthly membership charge. I can go to Amazon books without a membership. I called and told them that they were only authorized to charge the cost of the book and shipping and to refund the money back to my account immediately. I did received a cancellation confirmation but she did not indicate to me that my money would be returned. I will be following up with a call to the Attorney Generals office in Florida and the BBB, and the Consumer Protection Office. This makes the second time that fraudulent business practices have affected my family and livelihood from Florida state. Someone in Florida needs to pay attention to the corruption in that state and do some house cleaning.
