We apologize that you had a bad experience driving for Discount Cab. I admit driving is not an easy job and making money takes time and comes with experience. The trip fees are in place to reduce the base lease and reward drivers that build personal calls. Drivers have the choice whether or not they want to accept a fare and the best drivers take the calls we give them and establish their own book of business. There are no trip fees for personal calls or the cab stands that we have at Westgate, Desert Ridge, Tempe Marketplace, Salt River Fields, Camelback Ranch, Christown Mall and Peoria Sports Complex. 

We invest a lot of money to keep our drivers busy and we care about our community. We  know our drivers are committed to more than just making a buck everyday; they go out and serve their families by helping our community ranging from NEMT or the Senior Center Shuttle Program. It's not a get rich quick job; its long hours, and there is good and bad days. Sadly, no job is perfect.

This may not say much to you and we cannot take back your bad experience but hopefully you will see by this response as a company that does listen and does care. Driving isn't always a big money maker---- while it may work for some, it doesn't work for others. But we try hard and supoort to the best of our abilities, 100%, every day. Sometimes we fail and we lose a driver... In this case, we seemingly lose a friend. We hope you reconsider.
