Discount Computer Systems DCS WORST EXPERIENCE EVER (gave hard drive back to me broken and unusable) FORT WORTH Texas

This is a REAL REVIEW!!!! All you friends and relatives of Gary need to stop justifying this horrible place! I
WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO MAKE SURE NO ONE ELSE FALLS VICTIM TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. ON A SCALE OF 1-10 THIS SHOP IS A -100. This was the worst experience I have ever had! I have been A+ trained, it was awhile back so I no a little bit about computers. I took my computer to Discount Computer Systems for data recovery and "only data recovery".

I used several software solutions to attempt to recover my data from my hard drive. I was able to view my data using Fix it Utilities software however I could not move it off the hard drive. When I let my computer load
up it gave me the recovery option of formatting the hard drive and restoring factory settings, however it would not
let me restore files stating data was corrupted. Now I took the laptop to Gary and attempt to talk to him about
what I need and he ignored everything I was saying stating "he has his own way" he attempted to draw up a contract to repair my entire computer and I had to repeat several times I just need a data recovery which was for him to move the data off the hard drive and then I would complete the factory reset. He looked disappointed as if it was not worth it.

When I called on the day he said it would be ready he claimed "his guy" was out sick and could not get to it. On monday I go to pick it up and Gary says he set it aside and that they could not fix it. He says "his guy tried to spin the hard drive manually and could not get it to work" I was wondering why did he need to spin the
hard drive I was able to see the data I just needed to get it off. He tell me that the hard drive is "physically
damaged and that data can't be saved." After getting home and installing my hard drive into laptop I was shocked that the laptop did not even recognize the hard drive was installed and the hard drive made a horrible clicking sound that it never made before. I had a second co. look at the drive and they confirmed the hard drive arm was damaged. Now the laptop was never dropped! My wife just did a hard power down while the computer was running and damaged the software no hardware was damage and the hard drive worked for weeks as I attempted to save data. Now it was broke after I left it with Gary!

When I ask about it he became upset and yelled about why would "his guy purposely break my hard drive" I never accused him of intentionally breaking the hard drive I accused him of accidentally breaking the hard drive. Gary just kept yelling about his guy would never purposely break my hard drive and if I didn't like it to go get an attorney and sue him. I more that likely will! and I WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO MAKE SURE NO ONE ELSE FALLS VICTIM TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. ON A SCALE OF 1-10 THIS SHOP IS A -100.
