I had a very poor result with this company...they charged me over $800 attempting to fix my opener etc..i.e. rail, sprocket, rollers, springs and the opener and sytem still did not work...after all this they sent out someone who did not test any thing and said their's nothing wrong with your door however we could put a new logic board in for $158 but i can't guarantee that will solve the problem( $35 for this visit) ...shortly after i had another company out who said the door was out of level and it was obvious to me when i looked at the cables and one was taut and the other was not....my opinion is these guys may be good opener installer s(?) but not mechanics..I would steer clear of this company,,after spending almost $900 without fixing it..my opinion is there is nothing discount about them

One update i forgot to mention is that the first repair of the opener included a chain and sprocket.....price charged by discount garage doors was $ 406.08....they returned and did a totally different set of repairs with more man hours and guess what ...the price $406.08...when i questioned this they said it's just a coincidence ...Well maybe it was but all this for a same opener that can be purchased new from another company for $ 375.00 installed and they call themselves DISCOUNT garage doors....give me a break!!!

Totally untrue. Then after their failure to fix it they claim I wanted a new one installed for free , again totally untrue.
What they saw was a gullible senior citizen, I guess I plead guilty , who they took advantage off. I may not be totally on top of my game but I'm smart enough to know I would not have something repaired for 800 that only cost 500 new. Shame on them

We gave Mr. Weber the choice in January to either install a new operator or repair his existing one. At the time we suggested replacement based on the amount of problems he was having. Mr. Weber opted for repairs, along with critical door repairs that were needed to help the operator in lifting the door properly. We explained to Mr. Weber that even though the door is repaired properly now, it has caused some wear in the operator that is not repairable. We did return to Mr. Weber's house a few months later and found an intermittent electrical problem, which was the logic board in his operator. Mr. Weber refused to replace the operator and payed our service call charge. Had Mr. Weber replaced the operator when we suggested in January he would not have experienced further issues. The door was not out of level, and Mr. Weber did not indicate if the other company repaired anything on his door. Mr. Weber then told us that if we did not install the new operator for him for free then he would "make our lives miserable". He then told us that he didn't make a good decision in January because of his chemotherapy. I am truly sorry Mr. Weber is fighting cancer, but he shouldn't use that as an excuse to claim that we did a poor job for him. Mr. Weber wants to smear our reputation because he made a poor decision, against the suggestion of our technician.

Please consider that some reports are not accurate and the Better Business Bureau and Department of Business and Professional Regulations is the best place to check on how a business truly operates.
