I purchased the following from Discount Ramps.  It's advertised as a bike trailer and doggie stroller in one.  It doesn't work as a stroller.  One has to physically lift it sideways to get it to turn as the front wheel of this 3-wheel setup is stationary and it needs to swivel to work properly.

I wrote to the company, but they said that they were sorry but the wheel is stationary.  If I want one that swivels (i.e., actually works as a stroller) I needed to get a different model (which costs approx $150 more if I'm remembering correctly).

My son fixed the problem for me so now it works great, but it shouldn't need to be this way.  He had to weld a swivel wheel onto the front and remove the stationary wheel.

I told the company that they either should include a swivel wheel instead of the useless one currently on there, or change their website ad to say that it is only a trailer.  At least they should pay the $15 cost for me to purchase the swivel wheel.

Stroller / Trailer Combo

AUTHOR: DiscountRamps.com LLC - ()

POSTED: Monday, March 24, 2014

Hi Suzann,

Thank you for your feedback on our Dog Stroller/Trailer combo. I apologize that you feel the website was misleading, however we do not advertise this stroller with a swivel wheel option.

We do have models available with a swivel wheel feature, but as you indicated the price is more for the different brand stroller.

Again, I'm very sorry you felt we were trying to provide false information, but our website shows in great detail exactly what was purchased. Regardless, our web department has been notified that the current lay out has caused its first issue and they will review the page to prevent this purchase error again.

Please provide a copy of your receipt for the swivel wheel purchase, a manager will review this complaint and refund request further.

Thank you again for taking the time to provide your feedback on RipOffReport.com, please do not hesitate to call or email DiscountRamps.com if you have further questions or concerns.

Thank you,

DiscountRamps.com
