Company rep. Mark Benson, approached me with an offer for providing me a $200 Walmart Gift Card/ Gas Card for participation in an evaluation. They promised to send me this information for only $3.95 to cover mailing and handling. After verifying my credit card information, they then asked me to agree to try their programs (Discover Enterprises (for $29.95 @ month) and Road to Riches ($39.95) I was told that no charges would be assessed to me if I cncelled in ten days. I refused this offer and told them I didn't want any part of this.

I ear they have my credit card information and wmay willfully charge amounts which I have not authorized. What legal or regulatory agency can I appeal to to prevent them from doing this. Other company names given during the conversation were (vbamembers) and (Financial Education of America). I refused all of these offers on th phone, but I far they may have edited the convrsation to make it seem like I agreed to this ridiculous program.

I didn't know how bad it was until the rep (Mark Benson) put so much pressure on me to get me to agree to their set-up - Even saying that I could cancel the first day. People and companies like this should not be legally allowed to steal from the public using the wires (telephone) to do it. In the old days this was called "wire frud" and held strict penalties. I am willing to participate in all "follow up" for this problem
