On April 1, 2002 I purchased an Epson printer, along with ink cartridges and an extended warranty because a representative of Discovery Cameras guaranteed me delivery by April 5, 2002. I did not get delivery until April 9, 2002, and when I did the printer was broken with words to that effect handwritten in marker right on the outside of the box.

I told Brian Peterson I was outraged and would return everything. He repeatedly tried to get me to accept a replacement printer, which I refused. I eventually bought a replacement printer from Amazon.com. I returned everything I'd bought.

Weeks after I refused to accept a replacement, Peterson sent one to my address anyway, without my permission. It was refused at the door, but the company has convinced Discover Card that I accepted it. No one accepted or signed for the printer, so Fed Ex must have sent it back to the company. Fed Ex had a signature for the original delivery, but for the replacement all their records showed was SIGNATURE ON FILE. It was rejected at the door and I never took possession of the replacement printer. I have filed a complaint against Discovery Camera with this website and the Attorney General of New Jersey.

Discover is charging me for this item I never recieved. Even though the Attorney General of New Jersey is investigating this company and they are consistently listed for dishonesty and other bad practices at www.ripoffreport.com, Discover takes their word based on NO SIGNATURE that can be identified or verified. Discover Card is stealing my money and giving it to this dishonest merchant.

Discover repeatedly made the same mistakes every time they looked into it, and now refuses to look into it further, even after I've informed them they keep making the same mistake! Please help me, as I don't want to pay for something I never even took possession of. Please make Discover Card get their satisfaction from Discovery Camera, and not me.

I believe Discover Card endorses, or at least used to, this company as they offer a 10& discount for using Discover Card. I have just filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission against the credit card company for their disreputable actions and criminal negligence in investigating this complaint.

Warning! Discover Card will back the merchant's claim, even without proof!
