Distinct Advantage they called and they had my bank name ripoff Largo Florida
*Consumer Comment: SUNTASIA-DISTINCT ADVANTAGE-DONALD BOOTH
*UPDATE EX-employee responds: Another Bank Alert On Suntasia Marketing!
I received a call from a telemarketer about an airline coupon and gas voucher they needed me to verify my bank. I told them.
Then they went into all this airline coupon and gas voucher offerings I said I'm not interested and we both hung up, but as we were hangin up I heard a man in the backround saying my bank name. Like we got it that's all we need.
I was curious if they could get my bank account number. I did not give them my bank account number, but could they get it. If so what could I do?

Listen sweety, why dont you just use the information below to at the very least piss the owner/CEO/president of this company back!!!
His name is Donald, Donald Booth to be exact & below I will list his email and number so u can ask him directly how does it feel to be harressed? Or, ask the many different chicks who answer his line. I have reason to beleive that either his wife or lover wasnt very pleased when a woman on the other line asked for "Donald". Now Im not saying that its right to do this but certainly there is no comparison is that verse what Suntasia (Donald Booth) has done to many many others. Just call greet the devil yourself. Its just a phone call. Or, email the crap out of his email just like they did me,you and others. How about calling there at 8:00 in the morning on a Saturday since they dont seem to have a problem with calling u that early, waking up the household & then when u dare have a problem with it, they scream back at u and cuss u out!! Do it to them!!! Well, him.lol.
Hey, at least with my suggestion I am not advocating ripping anyone off in regards to their money or banking account info, just good old fashioned paybacks. But if "Distinct Advantage" can call me bright and early, wake me up,scream into my ear, patronize and condescend me & DEMAND I speak with them after numerous hang ups all while calling me from a "private" number, I certainly feel that by suggesting a little "returned favor" to Mr. Booth and about 276287 emails is warranted. Write him a letter atop the email. On second thought, nahhh, he isnt worth the stamp.
Create an additional email, one u could care less about and spam his email and their servers. I wouldnt suggest using an email account u actually care about or get use out of though, but u can open as many yahoo or hotmail accounts as u like not to mention there are hundreds of others. I happen to use one that is free and isnt any of the ones I listed so he would be more apt to read it but feel free to use what works for u and then after opening this additional account, just write to him whatever u feel...be smarmy and sarcastic, not threatening. I could only hope that his emails would go from 50 new emails to 800 new emails all in 24 hours if enough people were to read this. lmao.
Anyways, here is the information. don.booth@suntasia.com.

Now I must admit I have NEVER been ripped off by this guy. I have never been ripped off by Suntasia, Mr. Booth or any of his affiliates however, they have attempted to do so & have woke me and my household up many times & have called my house into late hours with no regard or respect. Again, all from a "private" number. They are so extremely rude that I cannot beleive people actually do get sucked into it.
************ATTN*************
PEOPLE, WILL U PLEASE STOP GIVING YOUR CREDIT CARD AND BANK INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE!!!!!
EVEN IF THEY SAY THEY ALREADY HAVE THAT INFORMATION, THEN ASK THEM TO RECITE IT BACK TO YOU AND IF ITS CORRECT, CALL YOUR CARD COMPANY AND BANK AND PUT A BLOCK OR PULL IT OUT OF COMMISSION IMMEDIETLY. IM SO HELL BENT ON STOPPING THESE PARASITES!! I KNOW THEY WILL NEVER BE STOPPED BECAUSE NEW ONES ARE BIRTHED EVERYDAY!! BUT I HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR PEOPLE WHO CALL MY HOME AND ARE RUDE TO ME AND DISRESPECTFULL AND ONES WHO TRY TO SCAM ME!! EVEN THE ATTEMPT PISSES ME OFF!!
S T O P Giving them any information!!!!
I really appreciate ripoffreport.com. Im so so serious!! They are the sh*t!! This website has help guide me & help me make some good business choices. Even something as small as plaching an order for a T-shirt from a company, I come here to check it out just to see if there are ANY complaints and if so, whats the rebuttle, if that company rebuttled themselves and to see how many OTHER complaints there are. So big ups to ripoffreport.com, I take my hat off to you.

Another Bank Alert On Suntasia Marketing!
AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, November 11, 2006
Once again another bank alert has been sent out to consumers. This time it's Bridgeview Bank in Illinois making them the 6th financial institution to warn their customers about this company. Bridgeview Bank even names Suntasia Marketing and it's sub company Distinct Advantage specifically in its warning. Take a look below.
THE FOLLOWING ALERT IS FROM THE BANK'S WEBSITE AT:
bridgeviewbank.com/
IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO OUR CUSTOMERS
RE: TELEPHONE FRAUD ALERT
The Bridgeview Bank Group has become aware of a fraud scheme which has targeted some of our customers. In this scheme a consumer is called by a marketing firm and asked to participate in a customer service survey. They claim to have been hired by Bridgeview Bank. They claim that the victim will receive free gifts, but that they need to confirm a bank account number. The caller will read off the bank's routing number, which is public knowledge, and ask the victim to provide the account number. The account number can be used to withdraw funds from the victim's account.
Bridgeview Bank has not hired Distinct Advantage, Suntasia Marketing or any other marketing company to call our customers. You should be very cautious of any free offer made over the telephone. Never give out confidential information such as account numbers, social security numbers or other personal information.
If you have any questions please contact our Customer Care Department at 800-794-2070 or idprotection@bridgeviewbank.com.
For tips on how to avoid telemarketing fraud, please go to bridgeviewbank.com/content.cfm?Contentalias=scam.
I keep asking how many alerts and warnings is it going to take before people realize these guys are nothing but a scam.
