Diversified Collection Services - Alice Truman Deceptive and abusive Practices collecting Student Loans Livermore California

Alice Truman of Diversified Collection Services contacted my daughter concerning her student loans. My daughter recently had a baby with complications. Truman informed her that she could enter the rehabilitation program and make monthly payments and her tax refund would be safe.

This was a total and complete lie to make her company look like they have an excellent recovery rate. She also told my daughter that papers had already been filed for garnishment of wages...I am still awaiting this proof.

If this company has your student loan account BEWARE of dealing with them, they will lie, threaten and abuse your character, all illegal according to the FTC.

I am filing a complaint against them with the FTC and the Attorney General.
I suggest anyone else lied to by them do the same.

I also understand there is a class action lawsuit against this company for such practices and am looking in to becoming a part of that action.
