Diversified Collection Services repeated calls; has not accepted certified mail Livermore California

after about 20 hang-up calls from this number, i got a letter from this outfit regarding a student loan i owe and cannot pay (unless they'll accept the whopping $40.00 i have on hand as payment in full).

nearly a week ago, i sent them a letter via certified mail asking for "further information," including a copy of their letter. i also requested that they contact me (and ONLY me) in writing vs. telephone calls.

after the letter was sent, i began receiving cheerful messages from "sonny." i did not return the calls; i was awaiting their response.

this letter was posted nearly a week ago. according to the USPS, it "left (their) facility" on the date mailed. i cannot imagine that a certified letter would take a week to get ANYWHERE--let alone two or three states from me.

i suspect service will be refused so they can (a) not provide the detailed info i requested and (b) continue these calls.
